Rohi on church computers

Leaders often ask for protection on the church's own computers. With a browser policy, Rohi is installed for everyone on that computer and can't be turned off or removed.

Install it so it can't be removed

Chrome and Edge let an organisation force-install an extension. Use Rohi's id: ncnmokdbipdcefnhiaopldhnakpafhbp for Chrome, lemgnnccjianabnodbbjmhjeompkijee for Edge.

Windows (Chrome)

In the Registry Editor, under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome\ExtensionInstallForcelist, add a string value named 1 with the data ncnmokdbipdcefnhiaopldhnakpafhbp;https://clients2.google.com/service/update2/crx. For Edge, use ...\Policies\Microsoft\Edge\ExtensionInstallForcelist with lemgnnccjianabnodbbjmhjeompkijee;https://edge.microsoft.com/extensionwebstorebase/v1/crx. Then restart the browser.

Mac

Use a configuration profile (from your device management tool) with the Chrome or Edge ExtensionInstallForcelist setting and the same value.

Chromebooks and Google Workspace

In the Google Admin console, open Devices → Chrome → Apps & extensions, add the extension by id, and set it to "Force install".

Also block private windows on church computers with the policy IncognitoModeAvailability set to 1 (Chrome) or InPrivateModeAvailability set to 1 (Edge), so protection covers every window.

Choose your church on each computer

Open a new tab, choose "Choose your home church", and search for yours. It stays on that computer.

Accountability for staff, if they want it

Any staff member can choose a partner in Rohi's Settings → Accountability: a spouse, friend, elder or another staff member. The partner sees weekly counts only, never sites or searches, and either can stop at any time. Leadership never sees anyone's counts unless they are that person's chosen partner.

This blocks explicit content in Chrome and Edge on these computers. It doesn't cover other browsers or apps; remove other browsers or use your operating system's controls for that.
